Storybook Theatre's 2019 Annual Meeting!

 

On Sunday evening Storybook Theatre of Hawai`i had its annual Appreciation Dinner and Annual board meeting. Outside in Sparky’s Garden Megan started the evening with a beautiful violin mini-concert complete with her own performed and recorded accompaniment. We moved inside the studio and, after a pule, a delicious dinner created by Ku'ulei was served. Smoked tomato split pea soup and pasta primavera with Makaweli beef with appropriate sauces and dressings was enjoyed by all. Janet performed an intriguing mime dance/song about Love.  Mark and Dave took turns giving Storybook updates and asking for new members to join the board of trustees. Ciarra, Mary and Katie Mae joined bringing the total to 11. Caylin spoke of the plan for classes in the studio and artist workshops. And for dessert Ku`ulei demonstrated homemade caramel sauce that she drizzled on her gluten free cheesecake topped with a mango-pineapple coulis. The trustees were all presented ti leaf lei by Blanche that were woven by Mary Hansen.
